Click Edit Route to enter edit mode, then click anywhere on the map to add waypoints. Each new point is automatically routed along roads and paths from the previous point. Click Stop Editing when you're done adding points.
Select your activity before adding waypoints — it controls which paths and roads the routing engine prefers:
Changing profile only affects new segments — existing parts of your route are not re-routed.
Toggle Straight Lines to connect waypoints with a direct line instead of following roads or paths. Useful when routing fails or paths aren't mapped. Elevation data is still fetched along the straight line.
Undo removes the last waypoint and its segment. Clear removes the entire route.
Enter a name in the text box and click Save to store the route. Saved routes appear in the list below and can be reloaded by clicking them, or deleted with the × button.
Export GPX downloads the route as a GPX file compatible with most GPS devices and apps (Garmin, Strava, Komoot, etc.).
Your in-progress route is automatically saved in your browser. If you refresh the page or accidentally close the tab, your draft will be restored when you return.
Toggle between Metric (km / m) and Imperial (miles / ft) using the button in the Route Stats panel.
Click Find My Location in the header to centre the map on your current position. Your browser will ask for location permission the first time.
